Who the Local track is for

You build sites that make a local phone ring.

The Playbook is one system. The Local track tells you which parts to use, in which order, when the customer is a business with a service area.

Freelancers and agencies

Deliver a service-area microsite in weeks, with a documented process and a monthly report the client understands: calls, not impressions.

Rank and rent builders

Build the asset, prove the leads with a tracked number, price them with the lead value prompt, and rent the site to a business that answers its phone.

Owners who do it themselves

You, or your office manager, have five hours a week. The prompts do the heavy lifting. Your real jobs, prices and photos do the rest.

Your path through the Playbook

Same system. Your column.

Page 5 of the Playbook has this map. Here is the Local column: what to run, and what to skip.

Module 1Pick local lead gen, or rank and rent. Choose an exact or partial match domain with the town in it.Prompts 1.1, 1.2
Module 3Use the LOCATIONS and PLACE keyword groups. X-ray the results the way a local searcher sees them.Prompts 3.2 to 3.11
Modules 4, 5Service pages first, then location pages, each with real local facts. Skip the SaaS page writer.Prompts 4.4, 5.2, 5.4
Module 6LocalBusiness schema, click-to-call, a quote form. Deploy on Netlify, where forms are built in.Prompts 6.1 to 6.9
Module 7Cost guides and local guides first. They convert, and national sites cannot copy them.Prompt 7.4
Module 8Citations with identical name, address and phone. Then the chamber, suppliers and local press.Prompts 8.1 to 8.3
Module 9A Google Business Profile for real businesses only. Then make sure every call gets an answer.Section 9.2
Module 10Find the tenant, work out what a lead is worth to them, and price it.Prompts 10.1, 10.2

The Local Lead Kit.

Nine pages and six prompts for the two places where local microsites fail: town pages that say nothing local, and phones that nobody answers.

L.1 The town test

Five questions, ten points. It tells you which towns get a page now, which get one later, and which belong on the service-areas list.

L.2 The owner interview

Twelve questions, fifteen minutes on the phone. It collects the local proof no competitor can copy, and turns it into a proof file.

L.3 The doorway test

Marks every sentence as local, shared or filler. If a page is under 60% local, it tells you what to collect and what to cut.

L.4 The phone agent brief

The full instructions for an AI voice agent: it says it is an AI, never guesses a price, and hands over to a person. Plus 8 test calls.

L.5 Text back and follow-up

The missed-call text, the form reply, four follow-ups and an honest review request, ready for your CRM.

L.6 The lead log and report

One row per lead. Once a month it shows calls, answer rate, jobs won and the three leaks that cost the most.

Building for clients?

The Agency Delivery Kit.

The Playbook teaches you to build a microsite that ranks. This second bonus kit is the business around it: what to sell, what to charge, what to sign, and what to send the client each month. Sixteen pages, eight prompts, one template.

A.1 Offer and price builder

A floor from your real hours and costs, with the monthly work counted per piece. A ceiling from what a lead is worth to the client. Three packages in between, with the math shown.

A.2 The prospect snapshot

Five public checks on one page. It opens a sales talk with proof, not with a pitch, and the owner can repeat every check.

A.3 The two-page proposal

What you found, what you will build, what you need from them, and what you will not promise: no ranking, no number of calls, no date.

A.4, A.5 Kickoff and access

A 45-minute interview that fills the facts file. An email that gets you into every account with no shared password. One approver, two working days.

A.6, A.7 Terms, exit and handover

Who owns the domain, the site and the phone numbers, and what happens when a client leaves. A term sheet for your lawyer, not legal advice. A clean handover package.

A.8 Calendar and monthly report

You, your assistant and the client, from the signature to the launch in week 5. A one-page report that starts with calls and forms, never with traffic.

Real numbers

The method, on two local sites.

Two local service businesses in large US metros. Clients stay anonymous. Every number comes from Google Search Console, pulled on 20 September 2026.

How to read this. These are client websites, not microsites, and the periods are short. "Before" is the first period we could measure, not a true starting point. We show them because the work is the work this Playbook teaches. Nobody can promise you these numbers. See the full results and the honest notes.

Questions

Before you start.

Is the Playbook free?
For the first 10 readers, yes: the full 85-page Playbook, its 66 prompts and the Local Lead Kit. After that the Playbook is $97, and the kit stays included. You also pay if you want the AI Agent Team that runs the system with you, which is $197.
I run an agency. Can I use this for my clients?
Yes. The Playbook builds the sites. The Agency Delivery Kit, included, covers the business side: packages and a pricing method, a proposal, onboarding with no shared passwords, the terms to agree with a lawyer, a delivery calendar and a monthly report. Build one site for yourself first, so you know your real hours before you sell it.
I own a trade business. Is this for me?
Only if you, or someone in your office, wants to build the sites. If you want calls and not a project, look at the done-for-you service instead. We build and run the microsites for you.
Do I need paid SEO tools?
No. The system uses Claude, free Google and Bing data, and Search Console after launch. A paid Claude plan is recommended for Claude Code.
Will you help me create Google Business Profiles for each town?
No, and nobody should. A profile at an address where the business does not operate breaks Google's rules and can get the real profile suspended. The Playbook teaches town pages that rank on their own merit, linked to one real, verified profile.
